Crotone – The Easter Triduumin preparation for Resurrection Sundaystarted last night during the Gloria, as they played for the last time the bells before the Easter Vigil. Thus, with ashes on our heads and water on our feet, the Lenten journey ended.
Crotone is experiencing the ancients rites of the Triduum Pasquale with the Washing of the Feetsign and symbol of service, and the Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament, “i tombs” (READ OUR SERVICE HERE) and then today i rites of the Cross, with the bare and unmarked altar, the raised cross and the traditional procession of paintings of the Passionfrom the Church of the Immaculate Conception up to the Cathedral Basilica, with Our Lady of Sorrows mourning her son.

7.00 pm: From the Church of the Immaculate beginning of the Procession of the Statue of the Dead Jesus and the Virgin of Sorrows along the following streets of the city: P.zza Immacolata, Corso V. Emanuele, Via S. Messinetti, Pozza Pitagora, Via R. Margherita, Via dei Cappuccini, Via C. Crea, Via Cutro, Via Roma, Via V. Veneto, Pozza Pitagora, Via S. Messinetti, Corso V.
