Oma did very well in the first two quarters in which they even had an eight-point advantage, then a small setback in the third quarter and at the final siren they were defeated. Also on this occasion the Masala lineup was presented in a largely reworked manner.

A peremptory start and then a wise defense. This translates into the success of the Triestina Gymnastics in the derby with the Interclub, a challenge valid for the 14th return match of the women’s Serie B basketball championship, Veneto group. The Interclub is thinking about salvation, the SGT has a chance for the playoff seat. With similar premises, the derby will not prove to be a gem for the discerning palates of basketball but it offers an excellent start for coach Jogan’s girls, at ease in attack and lucid in defense, a combination that traces the emblematic partial of 21-9 end of the first quarter.
The Interclub is hit but not sunk. In fact, the second half sees the Muggesani increase the pace in defense and get back into the game well, setting the score at 28-21 at the end of the first half.
The SGT also stutters in the second half. With the exception of the momentary +10 drawn by a triple from Mervich, the attack of the blue-and-whites does not grind as it did at the start and even allows the Muggesani to hypothesize a lead, taking themselves to 4 points, on a partial score of 31 -27 at minute 4. Serves a turning point. The 5 points in a row from Fumis, followed by a poker from Mervich, invented it for SGT; it is the tear that virtually closes the case. In the last quarter, Gymnastics gets down to business, closes well in defense and capitalizes on the derby easily, their 18th victory of the season which still keeps the playoff goal open:
