Open for Easter and Easter Monday, from 2 April everything will change at the Botanical Garden due to the redevelopment works: from the opening days to the (reduced) price of the tickets

Closed all week and open only on weekends (with reduced tickets): new opening hours of the Botanical Garden of the University of Palermo to allow the continuation of the redevelopment works of the prestigious garden.

The interventions, as part of the Pnrr Project, which have slowed down due to the strong winds of recent days, therefore resume and continue. The works are affecting the resurfacing of the flooring of Piazzale Ucria, the central avenue and many others corners of the garden which needed interventions, together with the fountains and other systems.

Starting from Tuesday 2 April, the Botanical Garden will be closed from Monday to Friday and will then reopen for visits only on Saturday and Sunday. At the moment there is a reduced ticket for entry, at a price of 4 euros for all categories of visitors.

«To speed up the work and guarantee safety, we have decided to close to the public from Monday to Friday, and to allow visits instead on weekends, with a reduced entrance fee due to the ongoing inconveniences – explains the president of SiMua, prof. Michelangelo Gruttadauria.

The garden therefore remains usable, until further notice, only on Saturdays and Sundays and will also be open on Easter days from 10.00 to 18.00 and on Easter Monday from 9.00 to 19.00.

From the Botanical Garden they let it be known that the regular weekly reopening will be communicated in the following weeks through the social pages.
