It will be a positive spring, in terms of labor market in Basilicata: this is what Excelsior Informa’s March bulletin revealsdrawn up by Anpal (National Agency for Active Labor Policies) and by the Chambers of Commerce on the recommendation of the companies themselves.
Based on surveys carried out on company needs, they will be as many as 8,630 new hires between March and May, with a +550 compared to the same quarter of 2023.
Good news, therefore, also in view of next summer, although it remains the share of fixed-term and so-called “unavailable” jobs is very high.
Analyzing the data relating to the month of March (2,710 new entries), we discover:
- that only in 19% of cases the expected income is stable, i.e. with a permanent or apprenticeship contract, while in 81% it is fixed-term (fixed-term or other contracts with a predefined duration);
- 57% of new entries are concentrated in the service sector and 80% in companies with fewer than 50 employees;
- 13% is intended for managers, specialists and technicians, a share lower than the national average (20%);
- for a share of 25% they involve young people under 30 and for 16% companies plan to hire immigrant staff.
9 out of 100 of the new entries in March are graduatesthe.
Finally, in 49 cases out of 100, companies expect to have difficulty finding the desired profiles.
