We are receiving numerous requests in this regard, with a strong growth trend compared to the past”. This is what he says Remo Santini, councilor with responsibility for Tourism, Mobility, Enhancement and Protection of the Urban Walls of the Municipality of Luccawhich is the leading municipality of the territorial area of the Piana di Lucca.
As Santini underlines, “the real news is that the tourist operators of the area have joined en masse the official Dmc of the Piana di Lucca, making it in fact the most accredited interlocutor with which a foreign event organizer can interface to create an event, a wedding or a tailor-made trip to territory of Lucca“.
Cooking classes, tastings, private events
The Municipality of Lucca is among the participants in the next edition of Discover Italy which thus becomes an opportunity to learn about some of the planned innovations. The councilor himself reveals some of them: “We can say that in 2024 they were the underground walls of Lucca have been reopened, which in themselves would be worth the trip because they are completely walkable and contain a treasure chest of pedestrian streets that any tourist would like to take.
