Tpl subcontract tender, ATC exercise: “The company is moving with the necessary prudence, interference or pressure could lengthen the time”

ATC exercise intervenes in the public debate to “clarify what was declared in the press, in an inappropriate manner and at risk of illegitimacy, by some political and trade union representatives, relating to the procedure currently being carried out for the subcontracting of part of the Tpl in the La Spezia area”.

“The company, dutifully committed to the fulfillment of mandatory regulations regarding public services – reads the note -, is, also in this case, scrupulously following the provisions of the new Procurement Code which recently came into force. In the path foreseen by the rules relating to the examination of the offers and taking into account the lack of jurisprudential references, ATC is moving with the necessary prudence and with the support of legal opinions, with the incompressible objective of maximum procedural correctness. It is clear that the procedure followed, in addition to constituting the best guarantee for the containment of procedural times consistent with those indicated by the Procurement Code, represents first and foremost the method that most respects the rights and legitimate expectations of workers. Likewise, it appears clear that undue interference or pressure could lead, as has already happened in many Italian regions, to timescales and inconveniences infinitely greater than those complained of today”, concludes the company.
