Born in Siena in 1979, Francesco Arca He made his debut in the world of television but soon realized that his true vocation was acting. He therefore moved to Rome to undertake a training course that allowed him to obtain his first roles. The most important opportunity came in 2013 when Ferzan Özpetek offered him the leading role in the film “Fasten your seatbelts” for whose performance he won the Kinéo award for Best Leading Actor at the Venice Film Festival. From 2016 to today he has worked on successful film projects and series on Rai, Mediaset and Netflix. The role of deputy commissioner Alessandro Scudieri, protagonist of the Rai 1 series “Stay with me” created by Maurizio De Giovanni, led him to win the Nastro d’Argento Grandi Serie 2023. The notoriety obtained in Italy and the desire to try his hand at acting in another language the doors of Spain opened to him where, within a few years, he conquered demanding and stimulating roles. In 2024 he appeared for the first time as co-host alongside Virginia Raffaele in the Rai 1 prime time program “Colpo di luna”.
