It’s almost time for the big event for Solari Grosseto Handball, which has finally reached the final stages of the Tuscan regional men’s Serie B Handball championship.
After having experienced a championship full of emotions, satisfactions, disappointments, we have reached the final phase which will decide the winner of the regional champion title, a fundamental requirement for access to the higher category, the men’s Serie A Bronze.
The final phase is played with the Final Four. The formula sees the top 4 in the championship face each other in a single challenge (semi-final) which will then open the doors to the 1st and 2nd place and 3rd/4th place finals.
The challenges will be crossed with Grosseto (1st place) facing Medicea Handball (4th place) while in the other semi-final Olimpic Massa Marittima and Mugello Handball United (2nd and 3rd place respectively) will clash.
They will be matches of the highest level where you will be able to appreciate the game of handball with kids of various ages who have made this sport their passion.
The setting to host these Final Four will be the “La Bombonera” sports hall in Grosseto, a candidate to host the final stages
It will be an honor and an unmissable opportunity for the entire Grosseto Handball club, especially for its athletes, and also for the entire city to be able to host these championship finals, an important event with a high technical-competitive value. The Grosseto team needs the support of the fans, the colours, the closeness and the warmth of the whole of Grosseto to attempt the much sought-after category jump and to try to obtain that result which would bring enormous satisfaction to the club and its athletes, absolute protagonists of an exciting season, and who could see their sacrifices rewarded in this way, given that they are always divided between work, study and training, and who nevertheless do everything possible to give one hundred percent every time they take to the pitch.
It will be played on Saturday 4 May, at 6.00 pm, with the match between Grosseto Handball and Medicea Handball and at 9.00 pm for the match between Olimpic Massa Marittima and Mugello Handball United.
The 3rd/4th place final between the losers of the two semi-finals will be played on Saturday 11 May at 6.00 pm
The 1st/2nd place final which will win the title of regional champion and the passage to the higher category, will always be played on Saturday 11 May at 9.00 pm
