Rotonda coach Giuseppe Pagana was very satisfied with the victory against Matera: “It was essential to score points here too against a strong team.” On the 21st of September – Franco Salerno passes the Rotonda with a goal from the right wing Cajazzo brings the Pollino Wolves ever closer towards the goal of salvation. First half with Matera starting fast and better than Rotonda who tried to manage the offensive gusts of the home team. Rotonda that unlocks it in the 64th minute: another mistake in midfield by Matera, a quick restart with Barile who from the edge of the area pierces the innocent Tartaro who can do nothing. Matera’s reaction: Cross from Ferrara from outside due to Infantino’s header which ends up at the bottom. In the final, Matera did not sting and collected their tenth defeat of the season which marked the end of the playoff games.
