The collection of signatures continues in the province of La Spezia for the presentation of the Peace, Land and Dignity list, promoted by Michele Santoro, Raniero La Valle and Ginevra Bompiani, in view of the next European elections.
“The core of the list’s program is the repudiation of war as a resolution of international conflicts, as enshrined in Article 11 of the Constitution, as well as the rejection of policies of militarization of society and the economic-productive system, the costs of which are paid by workers and workers, popular classes, families and the weakest part of society, we are in favor of stopping the sending of weapons to Ukraine, to stop the genocide of the Palestinian population in Gaza and the West Bank, to start diplomatic peace processes in the multiple war scenarios instead of continuing to foment violence by increasing military spending and selling weapons to countries at war. “Therefore – conclude the promoters – we ask all the citizens who truly care about peace to support us by signing for the presentation of the list to bring into the European Parliament a force consistently against war and truly for peace”.
As well as in all the municipalities of the province, on Saturday 30 March 2024 it will be possible to sign: from 10am to 12.30pm at the Circolo di Rifondazione Comunista di Pitelli – Piazza Iv Novembre, from 10.30am to 12.30pm in Lerici in Piazza Garibaldi, from 4pm to 7pm in Piazza Attilio Del Santo and in Sarzana from 4pm to 6pm in Piazza Luni.
