Saturday 30 March extraordinary edition of Farmers Market in Busto Arsizio in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II instead of in the usual Comerio Park location from 9am to 1pm.
The Farmer’s Market was born from the collaboration between Slow Food Legnano, Slow Food Valle Olona and some local producers following the example of the farmers’ markets of Cantalupo, San Giorgio su Legnano, Villa Cortese, Legnano and Nerviano.
The initiative consists of an extraordinary market of local agricultural products scheduled for four dates in 2024 (30 March, 30 June, 29 September and 1 November).
You will be able to purchase seasonal products directly from the producers who will display the goodness produced locally.
In the market you will find products such as cured meats, bread and desserts, honey, cheeses, wine, oil, beer, rice and other food products such as flours, vegetables and seasonal fruit.
The Farmers’ Market is a great opportunity to meet with producers who have decided not to be involved in large-scale distribution and to be able to communicate with the end user to share alternative food distribution proposals through the monthly farmers’ markets.
Zero kilometer markets disseminate and encourage the exchange between consumers and producers of useful information on food education and correct lifestyles.
The Farmers’ Market aims to enhance local products and safeguard the history and food culture of a community, as well as the landscape and territory to stimulate biodiversity and seasonality.
The initiative is carried out in collaboration with Royal Time and Caravanseray.
The organizers thank the municipal administration in the person of the deputy mayor Manuela Maffioli, councilor for culture, identity and economic development for supporting the event.
The Farmer’s Market will then be present on Sunday 21 April in the usual location of Parco Comerio also in Busto Arsizio.
