Trieste – To renew the Arcolab Space, today Thursday 28 April from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm, a new breath of fresh air with “Visions”: a series of collective art exhibitions curated by the artistic group of the Space, with the aim of showcasing the talents of young emerging artists, citizens and beyond.

We start with the inaugural exhibition with the evocative title “Disturbance” – the first stage of two other events to be held in the following months – which outlines the need to express youth turmoil, personal and collective psychological challenges; an incubator that raises essential, existential questions and leads to reflection on the contemporary world through a unique artistic prism, interpreted by four distinct “visionaries”: Carlotta Cason, Morena Bosiglau, Melancolinie and Lota.Boi.

“We had seen and evaluated some works by these young artists – explains Simonetta Cusma, one of the organizers – which had positively impressed us, therefore we wanted to offer the opportunity to make them better known through a traditional collective exhibition, outside of alternative cultural contexts.
Many of these “visionaries” have already exhibited in public contexts and in artistic residencies, this time they are trying their hand at a private context, which is increasingly reluctant to bet on the very young. The intent is to enhance his journey and perhaps offer him a springboard for future artistic endeavors.

But let’s see who the very young people are in this first line: starting from Loto.Boi, a young artist from Trieste who comes from the world of graffiti; His style is the result of a pictorial syncretism created by non-existent organic forms, by design, as well as by his graffiti art.

Melancolinie, already from the name we understand the predisposition to give voice to those feelings that sometimes it is difficult to reveal, offering us the personal attempt to translate his inner world so that everyone can recognize and identify.
From the expressive codes used emerge the emotional traces of anxiety, insecurity and obviously inevitable nostalgia. The short illustrated stories report an original visual and interpretative translation borrowed from the world of Japanese manga, pop surrealism and gothic and grotesque art.

Carlotta Cason, graduated in Visual Arts at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in oil painting, is a 23-year-old artist from Trieste who has always dedicated herself to various artistic fields. Among the various objectives that she sets herself to achieve through her art is that of trying to externalize the psychological dimension of the portrait.

Last and not least Morena Bosiglau: she is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist who prefers a conceptual approach which is rarely linear in style and expressive narration.

The exhibition will remain open until April 1st, for information write a WhatsApp message to +39 388 0732170. Free entry – ArcoLab Space via del Trionfo 1, Trieste.
