Garlic, Dalla Libera leads the consortium

Change at the top in the Voghiera DOP garlic consortium: Monia Dalla Libera elected president. The election took place during the meeting of the Consortium’s members, gathered in Borgo Le Aie in Voghiera; Monia Dalla Libera succeeds Simone Bacilieri. Voghiera garlic is the only production with certification of protected origin in the province of Ferrara and concerns the municipality of Voghiera and part of the neighboring municipalities of Ferrara, Masi Torello, Argenta, Portomaggiore, on an average surface area of ​​150 hectares, whose production regulations were certified in 2010. Monia Dalla Libera, already vice president of the Consortium in the previous mandate, is an entrepreneur who runs the agricultural company in partnership with her husband and son in Voghiera, producer of PDO garlic, active in all the events in which to raise awareness of fresh or processed DOP garlic, accredited to Campagna Amica Coldiretti, present at the covered market in via Montebello in Ferrara and in markets and events of direct sales and promotion of the territory. Bacilieri remains on the board of directors as vice president. The members of the new board are: Giorgio Marini, Raffaele Lambertini, Emanuele Coletti, Emanuele Evangelisti, Michele Gerin, Tommaso Pavani and Marco Baraldi. Among the first commitments of the new presidency and of the entire council is the preparation of the 2024 edition of the Garlic Fair, from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 August in the Este delight of Belriguardo in Voghiera.
