At the end of the mass in Coena Domini the altars will be stripped of their sacred vestments and the Blessed Sacrament will be placed in the altars of reposition, commonly called “sepulchres” in order to be visited and prayed. During the evening there will be a moment of community prayer: ‘holy hour.
