Ok of the network of subscribers to the definitive list that the 5 Star Movement will present in the European elections in June. A total of 76 candidates have been chosen (20 in the North West, 15 in the North East and the Centre, 18 in the South and 8 for the Islands), among these there is also the list of ten names indicated by Giuseppe Conte, including the three parliamentarians leaving the current EU Parliament (Maria Angela Danzì, Mario Furore, Sabrina Pignedoli). In all, 18,414 members voted.

In the various constituencies the leaders are the outgoing European MP Maria Angela Danzì, Sabrina Pignedoli, Carolina Morace, Pasquale Tridico and the former director of the Nebrodi park Giuseppe Antoci. Former senator Gianluca Ferrara is also running. Among the candidates there is also the former director of La Notizia, Gaetano Pedullà, who participated in the selection as a member of the Movement.

Among those registered, 16,108 answered yes and 2,306 no to the question “Do you approve President Conte’s proposal to include, also in a priority position compared to the other candidates, the three outgoing MEPs, Maria Angela Danzi’, Mario Furore, Sabrina Pignedoli, and the following names: for the North – East Constituency: Ugo Biggeri and Martina Pluda for the Central Constituency: Carolina Morace for the South Constituency: Pasquale Tridico and Maurizio Sibilio for the Islands Constituency: Giuseppe Antoci and Cinzia Pilo?”. Voting by members ended yesterday at 10pm.
