The agreements on development policies and cohesion between the Government and the regions continue: today the signature between the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the President of the Molise region Francesco Roberti, in the wake of that reform on the national component of the Cohesion Policies carried out by the Government in order to reduce gaps and disparities between territories.
“With today’s Agreement we assign a total of resources from the Development and Cohesion Fund to Molise for 444.9 million euros” explains the Minister for European Affairs, the South, Cohesion Policies and the PNRR Raffaele Fitto who coordinates the work between the central administrations responsible for the matter and the regional administrations, “funds of which 37.1 million have already been allocated as an advance in 2021 with CIPESS Resolution no. 79″.
“This is an important financial availability that the Region has chosen to commit to 42 interventions in various thematic areas, ranging from research on artificial intelligence to the biomedical field, from services for universities to those in support of fragile people, up to enhancement of tourist attractiveness, environmental protection and road mobility”, summarizes the Minister.
“We are at the sixteenth Cohesion Agreement financed with FSC resources for the period 2021-2027, the third for the South and, demonstrating that the Government is also working hard to define the Agreements with the Southern regions, in a few hours we will sign the fourth with the Basilicata region”, concludes Minister Fitto.
“The signing of the agreement between the Government and the Molise Region, signed today in Campobasso in the splendid setting of the Savoia Theatre, is an extraordinary fact that represents the closeness of the Meloni executive to our territory. 42 interventions, for the 16th cohesion agreement, which will be an excellent viaticum for the economic recovery of our Region.
