On Saturday afternoon, Mister Gotti’s Lecce faced Palladino’s Monza in front of their fans. The match ended with a draw with both goals arriving in injury time: first with Krstovic, sending the Salento fans in the stands into ecstasy for a few seconds, and then with the former Pessina on a penalty kick. Furthermore, among the players from Brianza, there was one in particular who did not go unnoticed by the people present at the stadium: Lorenzo Columbus.

The performance against Lecce
Against his former teammates, however, Lorenzo’s performance was certainly not one to remember. Deployed from the first minute at the center of the attack by his coach, in the first half he received a yellow card following a foul on Blin and subsequently missing the goal, from an interesting position, after a pass from his teammate Pessina. He will be replaced at the start of the second half.
Net of Saturday’s match, however, the season of Columbus it’s not to be thrown away, on the contrary. In the championship he scored 4 goals, some of which were decisive.
