With reference to the article entitled “Health ticket exemption: it can be done online”, published on 27 March us by Sicily On PressI would like to make some observations.
First of all, access to the ASP IT system to obtain (or to renew) the exemption from the health ticket, for income reasons, is allowed only to those who are in possession of the SPID or electronic identity card (not you can with the paper one).
Furthermore, for those assisted by the ASP of Agrigento it is not possible to access with the health card, as it must be activated by issuing the relevant credentials by the single revenue office. This latter service – which could also be issued by pharmacies upon payment – can only be used with a special reader that allows you to read the microchip of the health card. Only in this way, with the health card, will it be possible to have access to the electronic ticket exemption system
In the nearby ASP of Caltanissetta, however, the ticket exemption (but also the choice or change of family doctor) is done without SPID and/or without electronic identity cards. Simply register to be able to access the telematic system, thus simplifying the procedural process, especially for elderly people who already have difficulty accessing the telematic system and are also forced to provide themselves with a SPID which requires other telematic procedures.
Not only this. There’s something else too.
Although the press release from the ASP of Agrigento proclaims that from next month it will be possible to obtain or renew the exemption from the ticket for income reasons online (and without going to the physical counter), this possibility has already existed for some time. But it presents serious critical issues, such as the following: the exemption can be requested by the assisted person for himself and not for dependent family members who are entitled to it (family members of the unemployed with an income lower than the legal threshold, family members of Of “pension” social, etc…).
From the columns of this online newspaper which hosts me today, I ask the leaders of the ASP of Agrigento to eliminate the critical issues reported and to allow access to the electronic system with the simple registration of the patient (without the need for a spid or card electronic identity).
We eliminate complications for patients, especially for those belonging to the weakest groups or fragile categories. Let simplification and simplicity triumph, especially in electronic access to social and healthcare services.
