An event on the women’s defense project took place yesterday in Palermo, at the Marte club facility in Via Montegrappa 56. A team of 30 women led by maestro Lorenzo Mancuso, Police Inspector, attempted a self-defense course.
The Hon. spoke at the event. Vincenzo Figuccia who declares – “In a city where the issue of security is increasingly central, we thought it appropriate to launch this initiative which we would like to be repeated in all neighborhoods, to guarantee women self-esteem and skills so that they can defend themselves in the city, unfortunately less and less safe.”
“It is an opportunity to raise awareness of the “Krav Maga” discipline and to make the women who participated in the course understand how simple it can be to implement defense techniques to extricate themselves from any type of aggression.” – declares the inspector Lorenzo Mancuso.
“It was a pleasure to make my structure available for an event that talks about the defense-woman combination which I consider particularly important, especially in a modern society, where sometimes it seems we have lost the compass.” – adds Giovanni Di Gregorio, member of Marte club Palermo.
