According to the Findomestic Observatory it is the third region for growth. The increase was driven by mobility thanks to the record in Italy for growth in spending on used cars. Verona is the city where families spend the most and Rovigo surpasses Venice.

In 2023, almost 7 billion euros were spent on durable goods in Veneto (6 billion and 925 million euros), 10.4% more than in 2022: it is the third region with the most sustained growth after Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. The widest gap is recorded in spending on used cars: the increase in the region (+24.4%) was the largest recorded in Italy, approximately 6 points higher than the average (+18.7%). Sustained growth also for new cars (+20% vs +19.5% national average) and motor vehicles (+25.6% vs +24.7%). Sales of household appliances also increased (+2.2%).
