Andrea Cutillo, manager of the UIL, was elected president of the Provincial Advisory Committee of Campobasso of the National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work. Vice President will be Antonino di Blasio of the CIA.
The INAIL Committee carries out an important function of discussion and support for the Institute in matters of health and social assistance and health and safety at work. It analyzes the main causes of accidents at work and occupational diseases and promotes information, consultancy and training activities, using available resources.
Tecla Boccardo, General Secretary of Uil Molise, immediately declared «We express satisfaction with the election of Andrea Cutillo as the new President of the Inail Committee of Campobasso. A Uil manager, whose expertise is known from previous experience, who will above all be able to lead the Committee’s activity towards full use of the economic resources available to companies in the field of safety, in such a way as to involve the many Molise production realities in the ‘important prevention action.”
Finally, the new President Cutillo declared: «I thank the members of the Committee for the trust given and I trust in the active participation of everyone for the important objectives that we will set ourselves in the next four years. Central to the council, in continuity with the work carried out by the previous committees, will be the issues of health and safety at work, because in a civilized country sadly no more than a thousand deaths a year can be recorded among the workers who represent the most active and vital part of the country”.
