Syracuse, NY — The Syracuse Mets are back in town.

Opening Day is Friday, with first pitch scheduled for 2:05 pm, at NBT Bank Stadium.

Friday’s weather forecast calls for temperatures in the mid 40s, with some wind, clouds and sun, according to AccuWeather.

Can’t get out of work early?

The weekend series against the Rochester Red Wings continues with games on Saturday and Sunday. Both games are scheduled for 1:05 pm

If you’re heading to the ballpark this weekend, here’s what you need to know:

Promotions

• March 29: The first 1,500 fans through the gates will receive a winter hat.

• March 30: A schedule magnet will be handed out to fans.

• March 31: The Easter Bunny will be in attendance, and there will be a pregame Easter egg hunt. Jeff the Magic man will provide free balloon art, families can run the bases after the game and kids 12 and under eat free.

Parking

Parking is $7 and is credit card only.

Tailgating is permitted.

Concessions

The Wildcat Pizza Pub debuts at NBT Bank Stadium, serving up bone-in and boneless wings and tater tots.

Pavone’s Pizza returns to NBT Bank Stadium this year.

Grab some pierogi from The Pierogi Guy, with flavors including sauerkraut, potato cheddar, buffalo chicken, and pulled pork.

Of course, ballpark classics such as hot dogs, burgers, chicken tenders, sausage and kielbasa are still available, plus salt potatoes.

Concession stands inside NBT Bank Stadium use an all-cashless system, so make sure to have a credit or debit card on hand when heading to the game.

The team has replaced the reverse ATM system with a gift card system this season. Fans can exchange cash for a ballpark gift card. Cash exchanges can take place at the ticket office or in the team store.

Gift cards are able to be used for tickets, concessions and merchandise. Gift cards are also able to be used at Citi Field, Brooklyn Cyclones, or St. Lucie Mets in Florida. NBT Bank Stadium is the only major venue that offers a cash alternative to the credit-only policy.

Tickets

The ticket office is open Monday-Friday from 10 am to 5 pm Tickets can also be purchased over the phone at 315-474-7833.

You can also purchase tickets online anytime, here, or find cheaper seats with resellers like StubHub.

Individual game tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of the game.
