The Kansas City Chiefs player, who posed for a photo with the rock star, Charles’ son and grandchildren backstage at the Eras Tour, revealed in a podcast that the young princess was full of questions and praised the Prince and Princess of Wales for their parenting skills.
Speaking to his brother Jason on the latest episode of their podcast New Heights, Travis Kelce revealed what it was like meeting the royals, joking that Prince William was “the coolest son of a b—.” He added that his siblings, aged 10 and 8, were an “absolute delight” and that Charlotte, in particular, was “a superstar.” “She had fire. She asked questions… I love it when parents ask their kids to be present, to be vocal… and encourage them to take the lead in the conversation.”
“Prince George was amazing too. He was so damn adorable,” Jason added. As for William, “he was great too. He’s a great guy.” Jason and Travis smiled at not being aware of proper etiquette when they met the royals. Travis then joked about the difference in formality between the UK and the US: “William was there with little George and Charlotte, and it was such a pleasure to meet them. I wasn’t sure whether I should take a bow or just act like an American idiot and Shake his hand. Or say, ‘Is everything okay, buddy?'”
