In the morning on Rai2 for the next television season there will no longer be Fiorello to animate «VivaRai2!» from the Foro Italico in Rome. On the eve of the approval of the autumn schedules, which will be presented on 19 July, a preview from Corriere della Sera reveals that the showman’s program will be replaced by another show, with a completely renewed cast and a completely new format in its own way. The bet of the director of Rai’s DayTime, Angelo Mellone, involves a live program which will be broadcast by the Roma Tiburtina station. It will be hosted by Andrea Perroni and Carolina Di Domenico. The cast is expected to consist of a number of entertainers who will perform in a physical location. So goodbye to the glasses and the one man show, but instead make room for a program that will also see the involvement of the public, engaged in playful contests and competitions.
Fiorello’s new program
But what will become of Fiorello? There had been several rumors about the showman’s fate, with the hypothesis also that he could follow Amadeus, who passed on the Nine with Discovery to experiment with new entertainment programmes. Hypothesis denied several times by Fiorello, who after the end of «VivaRai2!» he was moved but without giving any clue about his future intentions. According to Corriere, the showman could move to another time slot. Once again with “extreme” times, given that the rumors speak of a program in the night time slot. It would be a project that would take inspiration from the legendary “Back all”, a very successful show by Renzo Arbore which marked the history of television at the end of the 1980s.
Serena Bortone downsized
After the Scurati case, Serena Bortone will no longer be broadcast on Sundays on Raitre, which will switch to Report an hour earlier than the start of Che tempo che fa by Fazio Fazio sul Nove. According to the Corriere, Bortone will maintain access time on Saturdays, but her program would now pass under Mellone’s Entertainment direction, given that relations with the director of In-depth analysis, Paolo Corsini, had now deteriorated. Bortone will therefore continue to host his talk show, but dealing less with current affairs and in-depth analysis, and more with dissemination and entertainment.

News also for Massimo Giletti, who should host his own program in prime time on Mondays on Raitre. He therefore slips Salvo Sottile, who will move on to Friday with a longer version of FarWest. New entry also for Maria Latella, who will make her debut in the late evening on Tuesdays again on Raitre.
