«A flower is enough for me and good humor returns», it is with the notes of ‘Una vespa in 2’ that Amadeus wanted to wish you a good one birthday to his dear friend Fiorello, who turns 64 today. On May 16th 1960 Catania Rosario Fiorello was born, one of the most beloved showmen inItaly. With his spirit and friendliness he managed to make the whole country smile, bringing shows to all regions.
The beginnings and the new song with Orietta Berti
On the morning of May 16th, there was no shortage of good wishes from my dear friend Amadeus, who published a story on Instagram that portrays the former Viva Rai2 presenter making a face while glancing at the billboard with the image of Amadeus. Perhaps, at that moment, Rosario was in the dressing rooms of the Sanremo Festival.
Fiorello’s career began with music and radio, first debuting as an aspiring singer at the Castrocaro Festival and then hosting Viva Radio Deejay together with Marco Baldini. Experiences which, over the years, brought him to Rai and made him famous throughout Italy.
But Fiorello has never given up on music and this is demonstrated by the last song, entitled ‘Una vespa in 2’, created together with Orietta Berti. Conceived as a jingle, the new song winks at the typical rhythm of Italian music and tells the carefree story of a trip on a Vespa, which takes the two singers around the world. A very light song that brings lightheartedness in view of the summer. And who knows if, perhaps, it will become one of the hits of summer 2024.
