Six Sisters: the telenovela set in 1913 Madrid returns to the air this summer. When and where.
Like last year, this year too the new episodes of the Six Sisters telenovela will be available to the public in the summer. Last year it aired on Rai 1 and captured the Italian public thanks to its gripping plot and nuanced characters.
Six Sisters is a Spanish telenovela set in Madrid before the First World War, in 1913. It aired in place of Ladies’ Paradise and tells the story of six sisters: Adela, Francisca, Elisa, Diana, Blanca and Celia, who after their father’s death they face a series of challenges to carry on the family name and their social status.
The plot of the six protagonists is intertwined with that of their employees and their families. A special bond is established with the Loygorry family, the matriarch Dolores and her sons Cristobal and Rodolfo. Dolores was supposed to get married to the latter, but then she marries his brother.
The Italian public, thanks to Six Sisters, has immersed itself in a very distant period in a Spanish city rich in traditions and suggestions. However, Rai has decided to make a decision that perhaps the public will not like. This summer, instead of Six Sisters, reruns of Don Matteo will be broadcast which will replace Ladies’ Paradise during the holidays.
Six Sisters returns to TV: where and when, fans waiting
According to rumors circulating on social networks, the new episodes of Six Sisters will not be broadcast on Rai Uno, but on Rai Premium.
The start date is scheduled for June 27th and the appointments will be broadcast from Monday to Friday at 12.15pm. Two episodes will be screened per day.
This news aroused interest among viewers, despite the change of time and channel.
Rai’s decision could prove to be a double-edged sword for Viale Mazzini. In fact, the soap opera could lose many viewers, but also gain a larger share of the public.
On Rai Premium it will be possible to watch Six Sisters with fewer advertising interruptions and with greater attention to both details and production. What can I say: the challenge is double for the protagonists of the series, who will have to compete with the tastes of the Italian public.
