After a few days of respite and above average temperatures, a new disturbance is arriving in Abruzzo. The worsening will affect all of Italy and rains are expected in our region mainly between Wednesday and Thursday.

Bad weather which will also lead to a drop in temperatures compared to the last few days. We spoke about all this exclusively with Mattia Gussoni, meteorologist at -.

Gussoni: “Rain is expected in Abruzzo in the next few hours”

Mattia Gussoni, a worsening of the weather is expected in Italy. In Abruzzo what should we expect?

“We expect some thunder showers. Tomorrow, Wednesday 1 May, rain is expected mainly in mountainous and hilly areas. Thursday a bit about the whole region“.

In recent weeks we have seen heavy snowfall. Will the flakes still arrive in the next few days?

“We will not have a drastic drop in temperatures. The climate will be spring-like and snow is expected only around 2,000 metres“.

What about the winds? Is there a risk of storm surges?

“No strong winds are expected. The greatest risk is represented by thunderstorms“.

When will we have an improvement in Abruzzo?

“From Friday the situation will tend to improve“.
