Supersex, what’s real and what’s not in the series dedicated to Rocco Siffredi – DiLei

It is the most talked about series of the moment. There are those who are enthusiastic about it, those who refuse to watch even one episode and those who already hate it. But no one can help but talk about it. Supersex tells the story of the man who is the symbol of Italian porn and beyond. It traces the life of Rocco Siffredibut not always so truthfully.

Supersexwhat really happened to Rocco Siffredi

In Supersex, giving the face to the king of porn is Alessandro Borghi who – and it is clear from the first 10 minutes – has studied the character in depth, with his very personal facial expressions, contradictions and excesses. And on the screen the result is masterful. But the one told by the Netflix series it really is the life of Rocco Siffredi so how did it unfold in reality? “98%” confided the porn star to Vanity Fair.

The relationship with the mother

The fulcrum of the entire series (no spoilers, don’t worry) is Rocco Siffredi’s relationship with his mother. And as regards the mother/son relationship and the pain experienced by the woman, the actor confirms that the series does not differ much from reality: “True. I called her every day of my lifefrom all the places I was, until 1991, when she died.”

But that’s not true, as happens in Supersex (small spoiler and also explicit language) that Siffredi practiced the oral sex immediately after the funeral of the mother, in front of her tomb. “The real scene didn’t happen like that,” she specified.

Although a hint of reality remains: “A friend of my mother, the day after her death, had called me from the balcony to come up to her. Once there she wanted to hug me and she picked me up on her lap, as if I were a child. She held me tightly. I got up, took it out, put it on his lips and came. It was a moment, then I was terrified. I apologized to her, and she smiled and said goodbye.”

The death of his brother Claudio

The first episode of Supersex shows the premature death of one of Siffredi’s older brothers, Claudio Tano, who died while still a child. It’s a true story, which the porn star has talked about several times. And just as in the series, in reality the child’s physical problems began after a blow to the head from one of the neighborhood kids.

“The real pillar was the mother – said Siffredi al Corriere della Sera – it was she who took care of taking Claudio to hospitals in Milan and Rome, since at the age of two, in public housing, he was taken an iron club on the head from another child. From there it seems that he developed epilepsy due to the hematoma.” He was 12 years old Claudio when he died from a seizure in his sleep, “From the age of six I lived with a mother driven mad by grief. When he broke things on me, I thought that he had to vent that pain somewhere. I’ve always understood it.”

His brother Tommaso and his wife Lucia

The most fictionalized part of the series concerns the figure of the older brother Tommaso and his wife Lucia. It’s true, Rocco has an older brother and it is thanks to him that, after working in the merchant navy from the age of 16, he reached Paris in 1982. Tommaso’s work in catering is also real, with the opportunity offered Rocco to earn a living as a waiter. Everything else is fiction.

And Lucia, Tommaso’s wife, played by the splendid girl, is also pure fiction Jasmine Trinca. A strong, resolute and complex woman, never truly born into the world but a unique representation of “all the myriad of female personalities I have met”.
