A teacher from the Enrico Mattei high school in Recanati (Macerata) has received justice. The teacher had been suspended from her role at the end of 2021 at the hands of the head teacher: her reason? The teacher. she had decided not to get vaccinated against COVID-19. The teacher, Rita Andrenellibelieved he had every legal reason not to get vaccinated, as he was sick at the time and therefore could not go to the classroom to teach.

The manager had applied the existing legal regulations and after having warned the teacher to get vaccinated, she suspended her from work, with the contextual suspension of salaries. But the teacher turned to the lawyer Alberto Piloni of San Severino Marche and appealed to the Labor Court of Macerata. In a recent hearing, the labor judge of the Court of Macerata recognized the woman’s reasons, stating that, since she had presented a regular sickness certificate, she could not be forced to get vaccinated and, therefore, it was reinstated at work and she was recognized as having the right to be credited with all the monthly salary payments suspended in these three years.

The judge has teacher’s suspension liftedwho had refused to be vaccinated for Covid, thus requiring the Ministry of Education to pay the unpaid salaries.
