Most Powerful Chef is the ranking of the 25 most influential Italian chefs in Italy based on cultural impact, reputation and how much they influence the sector.
Antonino Cannavacciuolo
Forbes has drawn up the ranking of the most influential chefs of Italian cuisine. The awards ceremony featured 25 internationally renowned chefs, plus 8 others who received special awards. The evening took place in the Bellavista cellars in Erbusco, among the Franciacorta vineyards.
What is Most Powerful Chef
Most Powerful Chef examines a series of criteria defined by Maddalena Fossati Dondero, director of La Cucina Italiana. More than guides and rankings, the cultural and social impact of these professionals on the territory is considered, the way in which they interact with the community, how much their respective gastronomic philosophies influence the restaurant industry and the perception of Made in Italy cuisine in the world. The selection criteria also include the media reputation of the chefs and the recognition obtained in the creation of value.
Alessandro Borghese

The Great Inspirer was awarded to Fulvio Pierangelini. Chefs Alfonso and Livia Iaccarino won the Visione award because “they made difficult choices in difficult times”.
