Children should be left out of adult arguments. They are innocent and deserve to know and love their grandparents, uncles and cousins. The King really wants the chance to get to know Archie and Lilibet and make memories. The little Sussexes could just be the link for a rapprochement between Charles III and Harry, convincing them to forget the disputes of the past.
Family has always been important to the sovereign. His childhood was marked by absent parents. Not seeing Archie and Lilibet is too painful. For this reason he will never break ties with his rebellious second son. He doesn’t want a relationship via video calls, he wants to be involved in their lives.
