“I risked scenes of panic, I’ve never experienced something like this”

A misadventure ended with a happy ending for Max Giusti, the famous comedian and TV host who on Instagram recounted the difficult hours he experienced before arriving in Olbia. After a lot of work, he had planned a weekend of rest in Sardinia but something went wrong at the airport.

“In recent months I have taken many planes for work, more or less always on time. Today I decided to take a day off, until Sunday, but my flight is two and a half hours late“: this is how Max Giusti’s social story begins about the misadventure he experienced yesterday, Friday 21 June, before reaching Olbia, in Sardinia. Once he got on the plane, however, he had to overcome another obstacle. The plane was hit by a blackout and, through Instagram stories, the comedian showed the moment in which he invited passengers to remain calm. These are the words addressed to the people around him:

Let’s see what they tell us, because if we all get up quickly together, there are many of us and there is no welcome downstairs. We understand what they tell us. Let’s stay calm, it’s a situation I’ve never experienced. We hear what they tell us, let’s do things in order though, otherwise we’ll get hurt.

Arrival in Olbia late in the evening

After difficult hours, Max Giusti’s flight landed without further problems. The comedian updated fans on Instagram by saying: “Arrived, all alive. Anyway, thanks to the on-board staff who really did everything they could to get us on our way. We are alive, everything is fine. Holy shit“. Before switching off from IG activity to dedicate himself to relaxing, he added among the stories:

I want to congratulate the flight commander. Without his tenacity and professionalism together with that of his crew we would never have left. And above all we would have risked scenes of panic. Due to the electrical blackout that occurred while we were in the parking lot.
