Perfect timing. You couldn’t choose a better expression to describe his last move Meghan Markle. There Duchess of Sussex has in fact chosen to unveil two new products from her company a few hours earlier than expected Kate Middleton’s public return. And according to some it is not a coincidence.
Meghan Markle’s new products
Meghan Markle launched hers a few months ago American Riviera Orcharda project dedicated to cuisine and lifestyle who has already seen her produce a refined strawberry jam. In the last few hours, however, the brand’s list of products has expanded slightly: it was Nacho Figueras, a long-time friend of Prince Harry, who published in his Instagram Stories the latest delicacies arriving from Meghan’s pantry.
It is a jar of raspberry jam and of Dog biscuits, who Figueras portrayed next to his dog Lina. On the label of both products, the unmistakable logo is that of American Riviera Orchard, the brand founded by Markle. A clever marketing move, which many have however criticized for the timing adopted by the Duchess of Sussex: the two articles were in fact revealed a few hours beforel Trooping the Colouran event that marked Kate Middleton’s public return.
Although Harry and Meghan have now distanced themselves from the Royal Family, many hoped that Meghan would choose a different date to advertise her line of preserves, so as not to distract media attention from his sister-in-law, returning from a very difficult period. It is not known, however, whether the move was clearly calculated or whether, as some think, it was just a coincidence.
Kate Middleton’s return to public
While the world of the web was wondering about the costs of Meghan Markle’s new products, the British people instead embraced Kate Middleton again at Trooping the Colour after a long period of absence. The Princess of Wales had in fact paused public commitments since last March, when she declared to the world that she had cancer and had undergone preventive chemotherapy.
Alongside William and their three children, Katherine took part in the celebrations of the official (non-registered) birthday of King Charles III, greeting her subjects from the balcony of Buckingham Palace: a encouraging sign of recovery, but which does not completely dispel the clouds over the future of the British monarchy. As the Princess herself explained in a long message posted on social mediahe is not out of danger yet: “My treatments are expected to last at least a few more months. As anyone who has gone through chemotherapy knows there are good days and bad days. On bad days you feel weak, tired, and you need to give your body a rest. But on good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of being better.”
Kate still wanted to address a thanks to everyone who is supporting hereven from afar, in the most difficult moment of his life: “It really makes a difference for William and for me, and helps us get through the hardest moments.”
