Charles and Camilla they flew to France yesterday to participate in the ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings. And once again the King was unable to hold back his tears in public, even though he let himself go before an extremely confidential kiss on the hand with Brigitte Macron. For her part, Camilla was also visibly moved and was the protagonist of a tender episode with a little girl.

More tears for Carlo who after the emotion in Portsmouth, found himself crying again listening to the memories of war veterans and of those who lost loved ones in Normandy 80 years ago.
The King, who is facing cancer, and Camilla were welcomed in France by Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron. Among other things, the First Lady and the Queen consort wore the same white look during the ceremony, causing considerable embarrassment which they however brilliantly overcame.

Also thanks to the close friendship that binds them. That Charles and Camilla and Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron get along very well together were demonstrated during the commemoration of D-Day. The two couples showed great solidarity and the King even risked a kiss, perhaps too affectionate, with the Première Dame.
On the other hand, Her Majesty is known for not resisting female charm, especially when dealing with people she gets along particularly well with. For example, this is the case of Letizia of Spain who was always welcomed to Great Britain with great affection, even going so far as to exchange kisses on the cheek.
With Brigitte he doesn’t have such a close relationship but the kiss on the hand suggests that there is a certain intimacy between the two, obviously without any malice. Thus, Carlo took Lady Macron’s hand in his and brought it to her lips while her gaze remained lowered.

For her part, Camilla once again became the protagonist, despite herself. You could say that she was the attraction of the day.
