Investing.com – Iren (BIT:) has unveiled its new industrial plan for the period 2024-2030, seven years in which the company expects total investments of 8.2 billion euros.
Based on the company’s forecasts, the strategy will guarantee an increase in margins of over 600 million euros compared to 2023, with an expected EBITDA of approximately 1.8 billion euros by 2030 and a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of net profit of 7%.
Furthermore, as regards the dividend policy, Iren envisages a dividend until 2027 equal to the maximum value between an annual increase of 8% and a pay-out of 60% of the ordinary group net profit. While in subsequent years it will be equal to a pay-out of 60%.
These numbers, according to Luca Dal Fabbro, executive president of the Iren group, are supported “by the organic growth, driven by the regulated businesses of the network infrastructure which will reach 4.5 billion euros of RAB, by the creation of 1.2 GW of new renewable capacity, from the development of waste treatment and disposal plants and from the increase in the customer base to 2.6 million customers”.
Finally, to support expansion and innovation, the group has also announced approximately 2,400 new hires by 2030.
After the publication of the industrial plan, the multiutility’s stock rose by 1.68% on Piazza Affari at 2.15 pm, breaking the wall of 2 euros per share.
