Florence, 1 July 2024 – The hunt for discounts starts again. Saturday July 6th they begin summer sales in Tuscanywhich will last 60 days, according to the provisions of regional resolution 514 of 22 April 2024. There is an opportunity to save, especially if you opt for theclothing. The catch, however, is always around the corner. Here is some advice that comes from the president of Aduc, Vincenzo Donvito.
The biggest scam? The fake discount
To make sure that the sale is a real discount, the advice is to take a look, before July 6th, at the shops, physical or online, where you intend to make purchases and note down the prices of the items that interest us. Then, from July 6th, visit the same stores and compare the discounted prices with the previous ones. The price tags must indicate the price not discounted starting price, the discount percentage and the discounted price. It is not uncommon to notice, says the president of Aduc, Vincenzo Donvito, that the price on which the discount is applied is higher than the one proposed before the sales, and the sale price is the same as the previous undiscounted one. If this is the case and you have the documentation to prove it, it is a good idea report it to the police urban.
Payment and withdrawal
The rules of trade and consumer code they are valid as at any time of the year. And therefore, even during the summer sales period:
- you can pay either in cash that with credit cards an ATM
- it’s possible change the goods purchased or ask for a refund if the item has a defect of conformity, or if it is broken and different from how it was presented. The exchange can be done by physically going to the store or, if it was purchased online, the return shipping costs are paid by the seller
- is worth the right of withdrawal within 15 days for those who buy online, with shipping costs paid by the buyer, and in the presence only if the dealer is available about
- if you buy a product for 100 and then decide to exchange it, the buyer he has a credit of 100 euros for any type of purchase, including additional goods on sale
- if you decide to give up on the purchase (whether it be right of withdrawal or lack of conformity), it is the buyer who decides if you want your money back in the same way you paid (cash or debit/credit card) or a good one to spend in the same store.
