24 JUN – Doctors and dentists who work independently can purchase a pension increase in real time or decide to invest a sum of their choice in their pension plan.
The new function, explains the organization in a note, is available in the reserved area of the Enpam website and is connected to the alignment redemption. Compared to the possibilities offered in the past, the new system allows the professional to specify the sum available for the investment, immediately see what advantage it would have on the future pension, and – if desired – to be able to make the payment in real time to make immediately trigger tax deductibility.
The reverse path is also envisaged, i.e. the possibility of specifying the desired pension increase and seeing its cost.
To be able to apply, it is necessary to meet some requirements, first of all having already accumulated 5 years of Enpam Quota B contributions. The alignment redemption entails pension benefits but does not add contribution seniority. This is also why not only active doctors and dentists can request it but also pensioners, provided they are under 70 years of age.
Adherence to the proposal involves the choice to switch to the Quota B contribution at the full rate. The tax deductibility of the cost of this redemption is total for everyone, except for professionals with the flat rate regime.
