Genoa, the writer Fransibo signs copies of the book “A life not at all banal”

Genova. From Monday 1st to Thursday 4th July from 10am to 8pm in the small square of Boccadasse we will be able to meet the writer Fransibo for a prolonged signing of his book “Una vita per niente banali” (Zona Contemporanea editions), learning about and listening to his stories and the events that we can read in the book. The author chose Boccadasse for his national premiere because he considers it the “place of the heart”, the place that has always brought the enchantment of Genoa, which enchants Genoese and visitors.

It is also the place of the deepest reflections of Philip, the protagonist of the story. Here Fransibo will meet the readers to bring them to the heart of the novel of his life and make each one relive the events that he describes and which see Genoa and Boccadasse as protagonists of his vicissitudes and his dreams.

There are normal lives, which basically resemble each other, and slightly special lives, like that of Filippo, who saves that of his parents before he was even born, because he slows down the race of his pregnant mother and the whole family towards a shelter hit squarely by a bomb (Galleria delle Grazie massacre, Genoa, 1942) and sees the light under the fire of German rifles.

Due to the events linked to the political clashes of 1960 in Genoa he fled to Paris and there he met the incomparable Mariù. He comes close to success in football but also thanks to his father’s concreteness he passionately embraces his dream job. Ligurian by the sea, Filippo gives birth to a daughter and remains faithful to his duties as a father even when women, passion or feelings would like to distract him. The story of a man who is master of his own destiny, who at eighty years of age is still waiting for new adventures on the sunny beach of his beloved Boccadasse.
