The memory of the sea is the theme of the 2024 edition of Lungomare di libri, the literary event that transforms Bari into a large bookshop overlooking the sea around which, from 5 to 7 July next, meetings with authors from all Italy.

The fourth edition of the initiative will be an opportunity to navigate the city by choosing the route along the Wall up to Largo Vito Maurogiovanni, from the Fortino Sant’Antonio to Piazza del Ferrarese or from the former fish market to the Spazio Murat. The program is full of lectio magistralis, presentations of novels and essays, and activities aimed at the little ones.

The master classes dedicated to the sea will be given on July 5th to Bjorn Larssona writer who will focus on the sea as a source of inspiration in literature, a Silvio Perrella on July 6, with a lesson on the sea in poetry and ad Annalisa Camillijournalist and writer who will address the topic of migration on 7 July.

Among the guests Luca Bizzarri, Filippo Ceccarelli And Francesco Carofiglio. Lungomare di libri is promoted by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Bari and by the I Presìdi del libro association, with the support of the Puglia Region.
