NARDO’ – On 14 June at 7pm in Nardò, within the Green Bio event, Simona Mosco will present the multi-sensory volume with multimedia content “Where do you think you’re not going? Kind stories for free women and men.”

In the stories that punctuate this book, different themes intertwine with each other: friendship, love, empathy and freedom, essential key concepts. Green Bio Town represents a way of living with awareness and is created by concentrating all efforts to reduce the environmental impact, through waste management practices, use of recyclable or biodegradable materials, highlighting eco-sustainable and particularly sensitive realities environmental issues, giving the right value to the growth of Man and the World in which we live.

Where do you think you’re not going? It’s not the question, it’s the answer! Therefore, return to giving value to people and relationships in order to be able to recognize and grasp the positivity or negativity of personal and social relationships. It is an invitation to girls and boys not to be afraid. In an era in which we have stories of violence, offenses and mistreatment on a daily basis, the time has come to look at the crisis in relationships. Education in respect and feeling is the teaching that allows us to live in harmony with others, to experience balanced relationships made up of the exchange of emotions. It becomes essential to educate boys and girls to be aware of them, to know how to recognize and manage them.

Inside the book, scanning VCode through the Vesepia App allows the use of various types of multimedia content, also via IWB: original music and songs inspired by the topics covered, animation of the illustrations in augmented reality and the complete reading of each chapter in audiobook mode.

Educational topics: Ecology; respect for others and diversity; friendship; empathy; inclusion; contrasting violent attitudes; diffusion of a culture of kindness.

Specific contents for schools: All the contents of the book can be used via the IWB. Teaching cards with grammar, reading comprehension and emotional laboratory provided to teachers.

Who is the Author. Simona Mosco lives in Salento. You conceived and founded the Metoxè Cultural Association in 2013 with the aim of raising awareness towards the issues of beauty and against gender violence. In 2019, the “Itinerant Red Bench” was inaugurated, a traveling symbol against violence against women, requested and hosted by institutions, associations and schools of all levels. In 2021 she receives the “Women who made it” award from the States General of Women. In 2022 she is one of the women in the world to write the “Dubai Charter” – which affirms the social commitment of women in all fields of knowledge for a dialogue towards the new generations – putting forward the proposal to bring to light all those ” invisible pathologies” not recognized by the State.
