Rome, 17 April. (askanews) – The PNRR represents an indispensable opportunity for the Italian system. Giordano Guerrieri, CEO of the corporate finance consultancy firm Finera, explains this in a book, presented at the Chamber of Deputies and entitled “The PNRR era – Making businesses prosper in the era of financial opportunities”. “The era of the PNRR is the title of my book which wants to enclose within this title a well-defined historical period, which goes from the end of the pandemic – therefore from the historical period that we all know – until the end of 2026-2027, which is the precise date of the end of the disbursements of the PNRR allocations”, explains Guerrieri. However, to seize the opportunities offered by the PNRR, companies need to take a step forward in terms of preparation and propensity to invest. “The PNRR – continues the author – is crucial, fundamental for Italian companies that know how to best perceive these resources and are ready to obtain greater financial resources, with a precise and detailed industrial plan. The PNRR is not for those companies that do not have investment capacity. The gap for Italian companies to fill in order to obtain greater financial resources from the PNRR is basic education on the knowledge of company tools, on how applications for access are presented and reported and the reporting of public tenders, therefore everything that helps to understand how to obtain greater resources, greater preparation and education appropriate to historical times”. A much needed training, as we have to face a new performance model: “The PNRR performance model is an innovative model for how Italy is used to dealing with public finance resources. It is a model in my opinion very interesting, which allows those companies to change their mindset on objectives and not just on specific daily needs”. From this point of view, an all-round change of mentality is essential. “Last year, two years ago, there was talk of the new Marshall Plan for Italy. I believe that it is fundamentally a great opportunity for innovation, for progress, also for a change of mentality, because bringing innovation to Italy means making a turning point to the bureaucratic system, not just giving a change to our infrastructures. So fundamentally we must see it as a real change of mentality in dealing with large works, in dealing with digital innovation and above all for businesses it means a great opportunity to get closer. to international competitiveness. This is certainly a challenge that we must take up and I am convinced that Italian companies will be able to fully grasp it”, comments Carlo Verdone, president of Federitaly. In this sense, the presentation to the Chamber also wanted to represent support for politics. “The PNRR – reports Andrea Barabotti, deputy of the League – is a fundamental plan, the word itself says it, for the relaunch and resilience of our country. This conference today is important, especially for us political decision-makers, because for the first Once we probably look at this national plan from the bottom up and not from the top down, we are constantly busy evaluating the impact that the PNRR has on a macroscopic and macroeconomic level. I believe it is also of great importance for political decision makers.”
