The Terlizzese artist Vito Lauciello among the protagonists of an exhibition in New York

From 29 to 31 March 2024, the exhibition “ImageNation” in which the artist from Terlizzo will participate together with 125 other photographers from 36 different countries Vito Lauciello. The exhibition will consist of a collective of photographers organized by DeFactory where “ImageNation” aims to identify high-quality work from new voices in contemporary photography. The format launched in 2013 by Martin Vegas, promotes the work of artists with different experiences and backgrounds, with the aim of creating a continuous and direct dialogue between photographers and visitors, offering the public the opportunity to totally immerse themselves in the diversity and beauty of contemporary photographic art, experimenting with styles and different suggestions in a dynamic and engaging journey.

“ImageNation” is a unique opportunity to connect with emerging and established talents in the field of contemporary photography, with a wide range of styles and artistic approaches; among these, the proposal by the photographer from Terlizzese Vito Lauciello, born in ’93, who told us «I will exhibit a work called “Portrait of psyche”. Work that has already been on display with the same organization in Paris and Milan. It is a revisitation from a completely personal perspective of the mythological character “psyche” taken from the myth “Love and psyche” by Apuleius – were the words of the artist, in a showcase of no small importance internationally – I have always believed that photography is a language capable of facilitating immediate communication”, it was his closure. And in this exhibition the primary expressive means that photography represents for exploring contemporaneity and translating it according to one’s own ever-changing aesthetic research will emerge.
An opportunity therefore also for Terlizzi, to be “close” to art, knowing how to appreciate and gratify it even outside our walls.
