“I was traveling to Naples for work and I left the lounge to ask the train conductor for information – the 34-year-old hair stylist reconstructed – When I turned around there was this monster who filmed me with his cell phone. I asked him to avoid it, but he started insulting me, so I turned to the same conductor.”
Federico Lauri then continued to reconstruct what happened, explaining how the verbal accusations immediately turned into a physical confrontation: “He punched me in the face before all. I moved away and he slammed his hand against the glass. Then I didn’t understand anything, because she was dizzy.”
The result, after several CT scans, is a facial head trauma from the left side with ten day prognosisbut – as explained by the hair stylist himself – “it’s not so much the physical pain I suffered that hurts, but the pain I feel inside myself”.
“Shameful that this still happens in 2024. I was slapped, punched in the face on a train in front of everyone’s eyes. I was insulted, denigrated, attacked for my sexual orientation. It’s shameful,” he wrote the 34-year-old hair stylist on social media immediately after the attack, sharing a video from the hospital he went to for some tests. “Please stop calling people fr***o. Homosexuality is not a disease,” she later concluded.
