Kiev has accused Russian troops of “beheading” a Ukrainian soldier in the eastern Donetsk region. “While carrying out aerial reconnaissance in one of the combat positions in the Donetsk region, the Ukrainian army discovered a damaged Ukrainian armored vehicle. It contained the severed head of a Ukrainian defender,” the Prosecutor General’s Office wrote on social media from Kiev Andrej Kostin. According to the official, Ukraine received information that Russian commanders had given orders to their military not to capture enemy soldiers but rather to kill them by beheading them. “The fact regarding the beheading of one of the Ukrainian defenders was recorded in the Donetsk region,” Kostin added.

In Kharkiv, meanwhile, the balance is increasingly precarious. In fact, in the last few hours, Russian forces have strengthened their presence in the area by increasing the number of soldiers and bringing new weapons to the site. According to what we learn, in the area between Raigorodka and Novovodyany, which is located about 20 kilometers from the village of Borovaya in the Kharkiv region, Moscow could now count on 10 thousand soldiers and 450 units of equipment. In the last few hours, however, President Volodymyr Zelensky had spoken of a “stabilized and improved situation”.
