Devoured by flames. A building of a dacha of the Russian president Vladimir Putin in the region ofAltai – area of central-southern Russia on the border with KazakhstanChina and Mongolia – would have been destroyed by fire. The news was broken by Moscow Timeswhich cites the Telegram channel “Sirena”, managed by the Anti-Corruption Foundation of Alexei Navalny, who died in prison last February. The latter source quotes the blogger Amyr Aitashev and the activist Aruna Arna, who posted images of the fire, specifying that the causes are currently unknown. Aitashev writes in his Telegram channel that Putin hosted the Italian prime minister in this residence in 2015 Silvio Berlusconi.
On more than one occasion, the Russian president hosted the former Italian prime minister who passed away on 12 June 2023 in one of his private homes. Some media wrote “that Putin and Berlusconi walked in the mountains and fished together in the Katun River, tasted local dishes and attended a folk dance show. According to some Italian media, which reported on the meeting, issues of international politics, Islamic terrorism and the Ukrainian crisis were also discussed”.
