Ukraine – Russia war, today’s news

Yermak: “We can win and achieve just peace”

In Ukraine “unfortunately the war continues, our soldiers continue to fight. We often hear how to help Ukraine win this war: two years is enough time to demonstrate that Ukraine is not only capable of defending itself, but of winning and to obtain a just peace.” This was stated by Andriy Yermak, head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, on the sidelines of the peace summit held in the Buergenstock resort, in a hamlet of Stansstad (Canton Nidwalden), in central Switzerland.

“It is extremely important for the whole world – continues Yermak – the formula proposed by President Volodymyr Zelensky asks to speak with all the responsible countries. We have invited countries from all over the world, from all continents. If you calculate the percentages in which they are represented Africa, Asia, North America and Latin America, you will see that the representation is impressive.” Of course, he acknowledges, “China is not present, but the resolution voted at the UN general assembly included 143 countries, which means that we have the space to work with countries that respect the same values”, he concludes.
