The general secretary of the European Democratic Party and outgoing Renew Europe MEP, Sandro Gozi, will be re-nominated in France at the next European elections in position n.6 of the ‘Besoin d’Europe’ list, promoted by the parties that support the current government majority French. The former undersecretary for European Affairs of the Renzi and Gentiloni governments, already appointed member of the ‘Team Europe’ which will lead the Renew Europe electoral campaign throughout the EU, is therefore running for the second mandate in the European Parliament after the election of 2019 with the Renaissance List. In France we vote with the multi-member proportional system, with blocked lists and a threshold of 5% in a single national constituency.
