Trento Economy, Future and Growth Festival kicks off – News

The Trento Economics Festival hits the ground running with the first day full of events and food for thought. The event, organized by the 24 Ore Group together with Trentino Marketing on behalf of the Autonomous Province of Trento and with the contribution of the Municipality and the University, has reached its nineteenth edition and will focus on the dilemmas of our time with the changing world . Central themes of the day will be infrastructure, economic growth and the challenge of artificial intelligence.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Matteo Salvini will open the dance. The Minister of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti is expected to speak on economic issues.

Also speaking will be the Minister of Health, Orazio Schillaci, and of Sport, Andrea Abodi, and the president of the National Council of Economy and Labor Renato Brunetta.

There are also numerous economic protagonists. Among these are the CEO of the Ferrovie dello Stato group Luigi Ferraris, the general director of PagoPA Maurizio Fatarella and Edmund Phelps, Nobel Prize winner for economics in 2006.

The inaugural ceremony will take place in the evening which will be attended, among others, by Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, the president of the autonomous Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti, the mayor of the city, Franco Ianeselli, the rector of the university, Flavio Deflorian, and the leaders of the 24 Ore Group with the president Edoardo Garrone and the managing director Mirja Cartia d’Asero.
