Guest of the Benevento film and television festival, the Roman actor and director has made the seventh season of The Cesaroni ten years after the last episodes aired on Canale 5: “In November we will be on set to shoot I Cesaroni 7. These days we are completing the writing of the screenplay”, assured the 61-year-old.
Who will return and who won’t?

Amendola did not provide further details on this seventh and highly anticipated season, starting with the performers who will return and those who, however, will not take part in the new episodes. Among the most certain nos, reiterated several times in recent years, is that of Alessandra Mastronardi, interpreter of Eva Cudicini in the first five seasons of the series. The actress had already stepped aside for the last season, closing that chapter of her life forever: “I won’t take part in a possible return. I wouldn’t even watch the series.”
“It is useless for me to tell you how fond I am of that series and that character. But also a great sense of responsibility, because the wait is great and the legacy of that success is heavy”, he declared Claudio Amendola a TV Smiles and Songsassuring that the spirit of the series will be the same: “People saw themselves in us and understood that we were real, and honest, in telling them.
