Each one his own book, in silence and without cell phones.
On Friday 12 July 2024, starting from 9:00 pm, the library park will become a large open-air lounge where you can find yourself reading a book together with other people.
The invitation is for 9:00 pm, you turn off your cell phone, you read in silence for 40 minutes and at the end you share your reading experience with others.
Each participant can freely share their impressions of their reading, read a significant passage that they would like to share with others, or just listen.
The silent reading party is a way to stop and dedicate some time to yourself through reading, it is an opportunity to regain concentration, explore new books and meet other reading enthusiasts, it is also a different way of building community.
The library will provide some deck chairs and seats, but we recommend bringing a towel or cushion or whatever you need to set up your own comfortable reading station.
The park will be partially lit, but it is recommended to bring a reading light.
You can read anything, there are no rules, you can also read digitally or borrow a book from the library on the same evening of the initiative.
In case of bad weather the event will be held in the library.

The initiative is part of the activities promoted by the Library as part of the Pact for Reading of the Municipality of Albinea and is organized in collaboration with the Azienda Agricola Podere Broletto, a local company among the signatories of the Pact.
